On “Giving Tuesday,” December 3, the official Engine 557 2024 fund raising campaign was kicked off. Two board members have made a $20,000 in matching contribution challenge for a dollar-for-dollar match for each contribution. Please consider contributing and having your contribution doubled.  Exciting news from the Alaska Railroad! "We're thrilled to announce the release of our 2025 annual print, created by the talented artist Scott Clendaniel! Mark your calendars for January 2025. Scott will be signing prints in Anchorage and Fairbanks, and you'll have the chance to meet him in person! Titled Alaska Railroad Buddies, this year's artwork captures four beloved Alaskan animals enjoying a ride aboard a GoldStar coach, taking in breathtaking views of Denali and the caboose through the dome windows. Scott describes the piece as "realistically but comically" depicting these friendly animals, like human tourists, savoring the journey and making memories.
