| In modeling this boxcar, I found that the Concor Greenville 60 Ft boxcar fit. I stripped the lettering off the model by using nail polish remover. Then I washed it in dish detergent, rinsed and let dry . Then I painted the car Boxcar Red( Scalecoat II). The next day, I decaled the car. I used decals from Randy Thompson's collection, Microscale and Champ to complete the decals needed. After decals were dry I sprayed a couple coats of Gloss Clear Lacquer to seal the decals. After it dried, I completed the assembly of the car. |
