I started out with a GP40-2 Athearn engine.  I had to have decals created circular logo, ALASKA ( large decal), pinstripes, and cab numbers. I took the cab off and painted that separate from the shell and also painted railing prior to assembly. Aquired appropiate detail parts such as ditch lights, MU stands, additional cab lights, antenna, 5 chime horn, Alaska extra large plow, and winterization hatch.  Along with the decals I had made for the project, I used the GP40 decal set from Randy Thompson's sets. This paint scheme is a fun one to do. LOL
