| I started with Walthers 65 ft Mill Gondolas # 932-23275 and 932-23271. They are two car ready to run sets. I used nail polish remover to strip the lettering off the cars. Then I washed them in a mild dish detergent . I painted them black with Scalecoat II . Using decals from both Randy Thompson and Curt Fortenberry, I decaled them in the two different schemes. I had to add lube plates, wheel inspection plates, and ACI stencils to complete the models. I used a gloss lacquer coat to seal the decals. |
