| This E8 B unit was modeled after the P-6 boosters for the Alaska Railroad. The model was created using an HO scale E8 B unit IHC that is now out of production. Roundhouse Hobbies decals were used. These decals allow you to do either the P-6 or P-30. I stripped the model, painted it white and reefer yellow then masked off the top third to paint it Royal Blue. For detailing of the top vents and side grill, I masked off the appropriate area and sprayed silver. I applied decals and then gloss coated to finish. |
