| I finished the passenger cars I was working on. One is a Proto Coach
#201. The other 2 are Superliner cars. Sort of a "what if" they actually
bought these cars to use on the railroad.
The coach is a Rivarossi Coach that I bought undecorated and customized it in the new paint scheme. I used Reefer Yellow and B&O Royal Blue masking off appropriate areas. Then using Curt's passenger set for the decals and clear coat to finish. The Superliners were originally Amtrak that I stripped and painted. I would recommend that you buy the undecorated ones, not the ones I used. Otherwise you will have quite a fun job removing the windows. It was not an easy thing to do. They glue the windows in place on the decorated models. Also makes for more fun then you really want to reinstall the windows after you are done painting and decaling. On one of the Superliner's I applied my special 75th anniversary decal to dress it up. |
