Mike Ferguson says of his unique creation, "This is my ARR "GP40-H #3014. This is a true to prototype model I built off of pictures and measurements I took. This unit took me roughly about five and a half months to build, LOL. I am very very pleased with the finished product. This is only the second major kitbash job I have done. I used many parts from Cannon & Company, Details Associates, Details West, and Train Station Products. I painted the unit Scale coat II B&O royal blue and Reefer yellow. I would like to thank Harold Emerick for his custom decals he had made that makes painting the new scheme possible. I also got other GP40 decals in both HO and N scales from Randy Thompson to finish off the unit I sprayed it with Testors gloss cote to seal the decals."
