| I started with a IHC E8B unit (now out of production), pulled the motor and trucks off and did some kitbashing and fitted the Blomberg "B" trucks under it. I painted it with Scalecoat II B&O royal blue and reefer yellow. I bought the modern scheme passenger decals from Curt Fortenberry. I built the HEP exhaust pipes from styrene tubes, I made several different sizes until it looked right. I carefully bent the tubes using heat from a candle and this is the finished product I came out with. |
