For my GP49 I used the Athearn GP50 as basis. Scratch built plow, Smokey Valley handrails, Cannon cab, scratchbuilt filter covers behind cab (not easy!), various parts from Detail Associates and Details West plus Microscale decals. I painted using Humbrol enamels - closet blue I could find. In the future, the chassis will be detailed with Cannon fuel tank detail k. I scratch built steps at front using plasticard to fill in and strip to build new ladder.
