This started as an Undecorated Walthers SW1 (932-1350) that I found at a swap meet. I diluted reefer yellow and dark blue with white paint to get the faded look of #1203 in it's last years on the railroad in the late 1950's. My next step is to weather it with paint and chalk to get the well worn and heavily used look. I think #1203 was used primarily in the Anchorage yard. [View prototype photo here]
