As you can see by the budding leaves, spring is here in Southeast Alaska, soon leaves from the cottonwood trees and alders will obscure the view of sights like this until fall. Here we see Lazy Mountain, and Matanuska Peak providing the backdrop against an abandoned hopper car still doing it's last intended job.
