This is still in the MP A7 mile just around the first bend, and this spot is known to Palmer Locals as "Pig Run". Over the years, teens in the area would dump their junkers over the side and as you can see, some are pretty old. A barrier was put up to stop the dumping some years ago. There are some box car remains under the cars and near the piles. Legend has it there is a whole diesel locomotive that was dumped along the river but I've never seen proof, but if it is true, this is where it would be. 04/24/2014.
