"It happened on April 24th, 1993 which was Tim's birthday. It happened at Rex crossing which was a non-gated crossing just south of Clear site, AK. The rubble in front of the RDC is what is left of a 24-foot camp trailer that was being pulled behind a truck. Luckily the ball and hitch were not a good fit so it popped off the hitch to the truck upon impact. You can see that if he had not ducked down the sheet metal that came through the window would have seriously, if not fatally, injured Tim." -- Ione Gobbi
