Patrick Durand says of this photo, "The building in the background is the original ARR Commissary and warehouse in Anchorage. It still stands but in poor condition. The track still exists as the lead between the old building and the more recent ARR Stores warehouse built on this side of the tracks. The three coaches have X numbers indicating they are not in the operational roster but probably used for temporary housing during the war. Not on any ARR roster they may have been brought up for housing during the war. Vehicles are a cable blade Cat D4? less the blade and what appears to be a heavy duty trailer with dual tires at each corner."
