BNSF SD70MAC 8901 is one of many units stored at Northtown Yard in Minneapolis, MN. It was built for BNSF in 1999, stored late-2019. In early-2022, it was photographed in Nebraska moving west with a string of other DIT units, destination unknown.

Both units were built new for the BNSF under order 976841 and retained their original road numbers to retirement from the BNSF.
