Of his photo, Curt Fortenberry says, "You may have seen the notes on the 50th anniversary charter by the city of North Pole. I caught this shot as it parked on the bridge over the Chena River flood control diversion channel (halfway between North Pole and Eielson AFB). I've longed to catch a train here, just the sun has never been right (as it was tonight). The train ran with passengers from North Pole to the bridge here. 4015 (Spirit of North Pole) powered the train to North Pole, but was left taken off and 3014 brought it the rest of the way. P32 was on the other end."
