Whittier Bound
It's only an hour or so past sunrise as a big 120S heading for Whittier catches the morning glow along Turnagain Arm at about 10 AM. The train is seen here at about MP 82.5 just north of Rainbow Siding while the rear end a mile and a half back is still coiling around Beluga Point. One of the three remaining GP40-2s still wearing her original as delivered in 1975 black and gold scheme leads the way.
