Thanks to my benevolent round of heart surgery yesterday I am under doctor's orders to take it easy, relax, rest, not to fly Sancho for a short spell and not to sit at my computer and work for any longer than it takes to make this post: a lone worker inside the otherwise empty, elusive, seldom seen caboose on June 9, 2021 as ARR work crew prepare for the work day ahead. I did not know at the time, but part of their task was to close the Palmer spur. I took the photo at the Alaska State Fairgrounds in Palmer.
