- Due both to the fact my train project is basically a Wasilla based essay and the skyrocketing price of gasoline, I have been limiting my recent shoots to the greater Wasilla area, but I was in Palmer last night. After Caleb, with help from Jemaine, blew his candles out and opened his gifts, I left the party for about 25 minutes and drove over to where Old Matanuska Road meets the tracks. I found what looked to me to be components of the work train awaiting their next call to service. Just minutes after I arrived, the over night freight from Anchorage to Fairbanks exited the Hay Flats and turned left toward Wasilla. 6/2621
