This is a picture taken of ARR 3010 in May 1987 along Airport
Way South in Seattle. Interstate 5 is out of view to the left and
the main runway for Boeing Field is out of view to the right.
In this early evening photograph the 3010 is sitting on a siding, so this
is not a run through or a meet. I believe it was heading north after
some repair work.
Much of this track work has changed since this photo was taken. The
northbound BN train, powered by BN 2559 (former SLSF 709), is pulling a
new string of Sealand double stack cars.
