Here's a going away shot of the 3014 south on the west leg
of the wye heading toward Anchorage. The slide date is April 1983.
Since this is a southbound, with a caboose, I'm guessing that this picture
was taken on a Sunday, and that this was a mixed train with no freight traffic.
But I'm not an expert in these things.
As the late Billy Martin once said, "I feel very strongly both ways."
That would describe my opinion of this picture. Thirty years later,
and still can't believe I managed to get those wires in the picture.
