Poor Spenard, always the point of a joke it seems. Here’s a picture of ARR 4007 leading a loaded gravel train south over the Tudor Road grade crossing, early on the afternoon of August 19, 2015.
Minnesota Blvd. is about a block east of this location. I parked my car in the Spenard Builders lot while waiting for the train to work its way south, up the hill out of the yard. There was a second unit on the north end of the train pushing.
