ARR 4318 leads a southbound McKinley Explorer around the great curve just south of Healy, Alaska on August 22, 2015 at 9AM.
 
It was not that long ago that this picture would have been too dark to take. It was cold and rainy with temps in the low 40’s and a cloud cover that was within arms reach.  Amazingly I cranked the ISO up to 1000 and was able to capture a fairly decent image of a train in a very low light situation.
 
Even in just one year the road back to this location has deteriorated significantly, making the short drive to this location a real nail biter, even in an SUV.
