I was able to capture a number of first-time photos on my recent trip to Alaska. For example, ARR 4009 at Wasilla, leading the evening freight northbound was a shot at a location that I did not have.

Here 4009 heads north along the Parks Highway in the rain, at about 10PM.

It was a short walk from the Best Western to the grade crossing
