Clearing the Path. No. 4323 and the AuRoRa has just pulled out of Talkeetna Depot, a stone's throw away from 2nd Street Crossing and downtown Talkeetna. A healthy dumping of snow has blanketed the entire Matanuska and Susitna Valleys. Armed with large plows the Big MACs of the road clear the way of the freshly fallen snow and the berms from the snow plows clearing the streets in the last outpost before the true wilderness starts. 12/18/2021 |
