Brutish An original ARR GP40-2 built new for the railroad in 1976 still wears it's as delivered scheme sitting in the electric bay at the ARR shop. This unit still features a large curved plow, Espee style light package and curved L-shaped windshield. However, never again will fans get to enjoy the classic and simple black and gold colors. This unit was shipped out in October of 2010 to Boise Locomotive (MPI) for a full repaint into ARR's admittedly very attractive contemporary blue and gold livery. Anchorage, Alaska |
