Coho Caboose

Looking north from the cupola of ARR caboose #1072 (since scrapped) reposing on a fine summer day on track 3 in the little used Coho Yard at MP F11.5 on the Whittier Branch just short of the mainline junction. Ahead can be seen caboose #1074 and an old ARR 10800 series boxcar and a former WWII troop sleeper (both of which are retired). Both cabooses are from a series built by Pacific Car & Foundry in 1949.
