Thursday, 21 November 2024: Alaska Railroad Corporation (ARRC) Fairbanks Yard Job heads Railroad South along the Chapados Siding in order to run-around their train and serve Marathon's North Pole Terminal. In this uncommon switching move the crew would switch out Marathon before again running around the coal loads to continue their trip to Eielson. This day's power was GP38-2’s 2006 and 2007 both originally built for the Penn Central before going to Conrail and finally the ARRC.
