By August 14 of 2016, I had been in Alaska for one month, and I rode the train to Seward. This was my first time to Seward and my first time on the Alaska Railroad. It was a pretty typical rainy day there. Here the Coastal Classic unloads passengers at the depot before running around the wye to prepare for the trip back to Anchorage. I took the train back the same day, I did not spend the night in Seward. Bob Yost was the engineer and Harry Ross was the conductor on this trip.
