Comments: The Grand Canyon depot houses the Grand Canyon Railway museum and the Depot Gift Shop. The depot was constructed in 1909-1910. It is among three remaining log depots of approximately 14 known to have been constructed in the United States. Of the remaining three, the Grand Canyon Depot is the only one which logs were used as the primary structure material and the only one of its kind serving an operating railroad. |
