Moody Tunnel Demolition

Moody Tunnel was a landmark along on the Alaska Railroad for 88 years.

However, to provide for a safer railroad, this tunnel was demolished in the spring of 2008.

On April 17, 260 feet of tunnel became an estimated 4,000 cubic yards of rock, timber and debris.
