That's me in the middle!
Epilogue
Congratulations for reading my journal all the way to the end! Believe it or not, I spent almost 60 hours putting it together. So, how about doing me a favor in return? Just drop me an e-note at john@alaskarails.org and let me know you read it all the way through. I'd sure appreciate it! Also, please feel free to send all comments, criticisms, corrections, suggestions and additions to me. I will add a few of the best remarks to the index page of this trip journal as well.
I carried (as well as spent $150 shipping) home a lot of photos, negatives, slides, video, recorded audio, stories, historical information, charts and other items. It will be months before I get it all online. Heck, I haven't even gotten everything online from the last two trips! LOL
"John, when will you return to Alaska?" Well, I am thinking about heading back when #557 becomes operational. Wouldn't that be quite the rush to be on her maiden voyage! Which brings me to a very important question. Have you made a donation toward the restoration of #557? Any gift of $25 or more will be matched and is tax deductible. So I am on my knees begging you....please click here and make your donation today.
Until next time, take care!
