Although Princess passengers cannot enter the GoldStar railcar the reverse is not the case. Terry left the GoldStar and journeyed to the rear of the train to capture this wonderful photo of mountain, train and ghost forest. During the 1964 earthquake the land dropped nine feet and saltwater tides from Cook Inlet rushed in. The saltwater soaked into the tree's roots and created the ghost forest you see here. 5/31/17
