Once we reached Bennett station Terry and I decided to move from the cab of the locomotive to the end passenger car #328 Stewart River. Although we loved our seats in the locomotive's cab the passenger car vestibules gave us a better opportunity to photo the majestic scenery. Before leaving the station Terry took a short hike and captured this beautiful photo of Lake Bennett. The narrow gauge railroad permits a tighter curve radius which follows the landscape rather then blasting through it. For the tourist and railfan alike it provides for some great train consist photo ops. 6/3/17 |
