After a good night's sleep, Terry and I took an Uber to the Fairbanks Depot for the VIP Centennial Train. Before hopping aboard the train, we toured the Tanana Valley Model Railroad Club inside the terminal. Club president Alan Armbruster introduced me to teenage modelers Nate and Izaak. Nate built a replica of the old Fairbanks Depot and will send me photos soon so I can feature it on alaskarails.org. 7/15/23
